When will there be a beach?
Tide timetables can be confusing unless you are used to them!
Look at the LOW WATER readings on the right hand side. The height (Ht/m) column tells you whether it will be a big beach or not. When it shows a low number (e.g 0.5) the tide goes out further and therefore the beach is bigger and better! The tide also stays out for longer, about three hours either side of low tide. When the Ht/m column shows a higher number, (e.g 2.8) the tide does not go out very far so you get a smaller beach for not as long.
TOP TIP: Plan your visits to Trebarwith on days when the tide goes out at lunchtime...this always coincides with the bigger beaches!
